Experience is labeled.
Workflow recommendations come from implementation work in a school concession setting. We do not turn one school’s process into a universal rule.
Built from the open window
ConcessionStand.ai grew from a Booster Club taking responsibility for a high-school football concession stand in Jacksonville, Florida. The product and the operating library are built from the same principle: the next person should inherit a trustworthy system, not a mystery.
Experience
Our starting point was not a generic restaurant checkout. It was a live school fundraiser with home-game schedules, parent shifts, teenage volunteers, starting and closing physical inventory, donated products, waste, complimentary items, Tap to Pay phones, QR ordering, official attendance, weather, and a Board that needs a clean explanation after the crowd leaves.
That implementation exposed the handoffs ordinary point-of-sale tools leave unresolved: who confirms the home game, who can open the stand, how adults receive temporary payment access, what a released shift does to capacity, how donated stock is counted, and what must be reviewed before a game is locked. Those questions shape the platform and our published guidance.
Editorial standards
Our operating library is written for adults making real school, volunteer, inventory, and fundraising decisions.
Workflow recommendations come from implementation work in a school concession setting. We do not turn one school’s process into a universal rule.
Payment capabilities link to provider documentation. Food-safety guidance links to public-health authorities. School controls link to published school-system policies.
Permits, taxes, district policy, food rules, and volunteer requirements vary. Our checklists help teams ask the right question; they do not replace the responsible authority.
We describe workflows that exist in the working product or clearly label them as planned. We do not invent customer totals, savings, testimonials, or performance results.
Guides show their review date. We revisit provider and public-source claims when the linked rules or the software changes materially.
If a source has changed or a passage is unclear, email hello@concessionstand.ai. We review the evidence and correct material errors.
Scope and accountability
We will explain the operational logic, show our sources, identify assumptions, and tell a school when a provider or local authority owns the answer.
We will not fabricate case-study numbers, present software as a food-safety certification, imply a payment partnership that does not exist, or hide our commercial interest in the platform.
Tell us how the stand works today. We’ll start with one real game and make each operational decision visible.
